Our approach

At Renovis, we believe that the care we give extends beyond the treatment room. We handle your personal information with the same respect and discretion that we bring to every session. We collect only what we need, keep it only as long as it is useful to you, and will never share it with anyone else.

What we collect and why

When you make a booking, we ask for your name and contact details so that we can confirm your appointment and get in touch if anything changes.

To provide the best possible treatment, it helps us to keep a note of your preferences — the areas you find most beneficial, any sensitivities, and anything you have shared about your wellbeing that is relevant to your session. This allows us to pick up naturally each time we see you, without asking you to repeat yourself.

Because this includes information about your physical health, we ask for your explicit consent before saving it. You will find that option below.

Your consent (provided on the consultation form)

I am happy for Renovis to keep a record of my treatment preferences and relevant health notes, so that my therapist can provide a more personalised experience at future visits.
You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us. We will promptly delete your notes on request.

How long we keep your information

Contact details are held for as long as you remain an active client. If we have not seen you for two years, we will delete your records. Treatment notes are kept only if you have given your consent above, and are deleted immediately upon request.

We do not use your information for marketing, and we will never pass your details to a third party.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to see the information we hold about you, to correct anything that is inaccurate, and to ask us to delete it entirely. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you feel your data has not been handled properly.
